Electrostatic Precipitation (ESP) is an effective air filtration method that removes fine particles, dust, and airborne contaminants. The VIU Mobile applies a strong static charge of around 8000 volts to airborne particles, which are then attracted to collector plates with the opposite charge. This process captures and removes these particles from the air.
ESP technology achieves up to 99% efficiency, even for very small contaminants like viruses and bacteria. One of its key advantages is its low resistance to airflow, allowing for efficient filtration without significantly cutting off air circulation.
Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) is a powerful method for disinfecting air by destroying microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and mould spores. UVGI uses UVC light to target and damage the DNA and RNA of these pathogens, depriving them of growth or reproduction.

The VIU mobile units are designed to be installed discreetly above the ceiling, saving floor space and keeping the system out of sight. A powerful built-in fan pulls in contaminated air from the surroundings. The air then goes through a thorough two-step filtration process.
First, electrostatic precipitation (ESP) removes up to 99.999% of particles, including tiny contaminants like viruses and bacteria. Next, UVGI (Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation) deactivates harmful microorganisms by altering their DNA, preventing them from reproducing. After both filtration stages, the VIU mobile releases clean, purified air back into the environment.
